CSEE Welcome Week Research Lightning Talks & Lab Open Houses
9:00-1:00 pm Tuesday, August 27 in the ITE building,
UMBC's CSEE Department will hold an event to introduce students and visitors to current research by faculty and students.
Learn about ongoing research projects, meet the professors, visit their labs, and get involved in research in the department. Projects include a wide spectrum of activities in computer science, computer engineering, and electrical engineering, such as AI, machine learning, cybersecurity, quantum computation, graphics, visualization, hardware systems, signal processing, communications, and photonics. Free and open to the public.
Schedule
- 9-11am: 5-minute lightning research talks by CSEE faculty in ITE 104
- 11am-1pm: research lab open houses in the second and third floors of the ITE building
