Research Areas
Dr. Konstantinos Kalpakis received his Ph.D. degree in Computer Science in 1994. He is an Associate Professor at the Department of Computer Science and Electrical Engineering Department. He is a senior member of the IEEE Computer Society. His research interests include wireless sensor networks, query processing in distributed systems, machine learning methods for time series and rare events, multilinear data analysis Methods. His recent work is concerned with rare cell detection in flow cytometry video data, outcome forecasting from vital sign time series, and tensor analysis for knowledge graph completion.
