Cohort-based research experiences for undergraduates

This information session is for UMBC students interested in participating in the CIRCUIT program, which provides year-long, cohort-based research experiences for undergraduates. Students receive training, full-time summer salaries, and academic credit for part-time work during the school year. CIRCUIT is led and funded by the Johns Hopkins University Applied Physics Lab (JHU/APL) with UMBC as a participating institution.
Students from all majors are invited to apply. Research projects are likely to come from topic areas such as:
- Artificial intelligence
- Data Science
- Cybersecurity
- Precision Medicine
- Planetary Exploration
- Environmental Science
- Neuroscience
- Material Science
- Biological Science
In addition to this October 12th in-person information session at UMBC, there will be two online information sessions hosted by APL via this Zoom link on Tuesday October 11th at 5pm and Wednesday October 19th at 4pm.
