AAAI Undergraduate Consortium

If you are an undergraduate student who is interested in Artificial Intelligence, we encourage you to apply to the 2023 Undergraduate Consortium (AAAI-UC) at the Association for the Advancement of Artificial Intelligence (AAAI) Conference on Artificial Intelligence in Washington, DC.  This conference is one of the top-tier conferences in AI and would offer access to cutting-edge research and researchers in AI from around the world.  

We will prioritize undergraduates from marginalized communities in computing that are one or two years from graduation and are interested in doing artificial intelligence research yet have had little exposure to it.  Check out the Call for Participation.  

Students accepted into the 2023 AAAI-UC program will attend the UC events and will meet with an assigned mentor to discuss their research interests and receive feedback on the application materials that they submitted.  They will be inspired by exceptional plenary speakers at both the AAAI-UC and the AAAI main conference.  Travel funding will be available, with priority for funding given to students local to the DC area and students with multiple marginalized identities. The schedule of events and activities from the 2022 AAAI-UC is available here.
