UMBC's College of Engineering and Information Technology has multiple open-rank, tenure/tenure-track faculty positions in renewable energy and sustainability. The home department can be CSEE or any other College department.

Relevant sustainability research areas include AI for climate change, sustainability, and renewable energy; energy-related cyber-physical systems; smart energy systems, grids, buildings, and cities.
