DEC is the Digital Entertainment Conference, an annual event held since 2006 and run by the students of the UMBC Game Developers Club. It brings professional game developers from the area to UMBC to talk about their experience in the game industry. DEC is free to attend and open to UMBC students, high school students, UMBC alumni and anyone interested in game development. This year's schedule is:
- 11am - 12pm: Seth Davis, Gameplay Engineer
- 12pm - 1pm: Natalia “Tulie” Mitiuriev, Junior 3D Character Artist
- 1pm - 2pm: LUNCH (will be provided!)
- 2pm - 3pm: Katie Hirsch, Senior UI Engineer
- 3pm - 4pm: Marc Olano, COEIT Associate Dean
- 4pm - 5pm: Ryan Griffin, 3D Artist
