Data Science Track Requirements
CMSC 491 Introduction to Data Science/CMSC 462 – Introduction to Data Science
Data Core List – need to complete one course from the following:
CMSC 436, 461, 478
Data elective list– need to complete two courses from the following:
CMSC 427, 433, 435, 442, 455, 471, 473, 475, 476, 483, 491(Hadoop, Semantic Web, Computer Vision, Mobile)
CMPE 422, 491 (Data Driven Signal Processing)
If you believe you have an elective other than these that is related to data science, please email me to see if we will consider it as a valid elective for the track.
